Rati Pandey was born on September 11, 1982 in Assam. She has been actively working on the television since year 2007. She always wanted to enter in the business field but destiny had other plans for her. She was noticed by Ajay Sinha and he decided to enter in the acting field. She tried her luck in several production houses and finally made her debut with Zee TV’s telvision serial titled Shaadi Street. The show was produced and directed by Deepti Bhatnagar. She then got another television serial titled Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai in which she played the lead role of Prathana.
Rati was then also offered to play the lead role of Divya in Banoo Main Teri Dulhan. But she declined the offer as a result of which the role gone in the kitty of a newcomer actresss, Divyanka Tripathi. She acted in few episodes of the hit serial C.I.D.. She is currently playing the one of the lead role in the romantic television serial, Miley Jab Hum Tum. The show is airing on Star One. She is playing the role of a bubbly girl named Nupur in the serial. In the serial, her role is of a girl who is passionate about fashion designing and wants to make it big in this career.
She also did a Telugu movie titled Student which failed to do good among audiences. Rati is famous with the nickname of ‘Pammi’ among her family and friends. She won the Young Achiever’s Award for the Best Actress category in the year 2009. She was also nominated for the ITA Gr8 Face Of The Year award in the year 2008. She is currently in a love relationship with another tv actor named Mohit Sehgal, who is working alongside her in the television serial, Miley Jab Hum Tum.
